It started with me having control of Rhodes and Pergamum. However, I have been at odds with the Seleucids and Pontus for the last 15 or so turns in Asia Minor. I have bagged all of the Greek mainland and also Cydonia (crete), and I have extended right to take possession of Byzantium. Playing on H/H this time and it is quite hard going.

Here's an update - Have started playing as the Greek City States - to get the full effect of the changes in troop types. Romans with Numidan cavalry, libyan spearmen and greek hoplites is great! Would also add that I LOVE the way you have auxilry barracks allowing for the training and re-training of the local troop types. So - is their any factions that are expecially good fun. I chose the men of Saba, and really enjoyed this faction - much easier than the Romans, and I all but wiped out the Plotlemtic Empire inside 15/16 turns. Then I decided to sample another faction. Took me a few turns but I eventually saw them off and was set to expand. Just about managed to fend off and kills Phyrrus' army when the Carthaginians landed. I have sampled two campaigns so far on M/M - Romans & Sabacaens.

Have to say I'm enjoying it, but was wondering if people have any recommendations, favourite factions, troops types etc. This is my first go at modified Rome: Total War, except for the Mundus Magnus map.
